Training Course Description
This ISO 9001 Internal auditor training is a 16-Hour course covering the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. This course is a combination of classroom lecture and practical exercises, and includes student participation in the performance of an actual audit.

  1. ISO 9001:2015 Standard - Quality Management Systems
  2. Sections & Requirements of the Standard
  3. Internal Audits & the Internal Audit Process
  4. Audit Planning
  5. Audit Performance
  6. Audit Reporting
  7. Corrective Action and Audit Follow Up
 
While initially addressed during course lecture and discussion, the subjects of audit planning, performance and reporting are further developed through practical exercise. Audit performance places special emphasis on the development of key auditor skills, including the review of management system documentation, the verification of records, personnel interviews and observations of work-in-progress. ​

Upon completion of this program, the attendee will be able to:
  • Define the general requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard. 
  • Summarize the sections and clauses of the Standard.
  • Understand ISO’s process-based approach for Management Systems.
  • Describe the auditing process for effective Management System implementation and maintenance.
  • Plan an internal audit.
  • Define audit criteria, scope, frequency and methods.
  • Interpret audit procedures (plans, checklists, findings, reporting, records).
  • Perform an internal audit
  • Report internal audit findings
  • Analyze action to be taken (post audit) and identify follow up activities.
