Of important note here is ISO 45001's strict emphasis on the fulfilment of compliance obligations. If your organization is not already in compliance with applicable Occupational Health & Safety regulations and requirements, certification is unlikely to be awarded until these issues are resolved. Most organizations will require between 6 to 12 months for the development and implementation of an effective system; however some may take longer, some may take less. These are general guidelines however, as it is really up to the organization, and their level of commitment to becoming ISO 45001 compliant. |
