Mark Randig is the President and founder of MAS Solutions LLC., a Houston, TX-based consulting group specializing in business Quality Enhancement and Productivity Improvement.
Prior to establishing MAS Solutions, he held key leadership roles in Quality Management for several multi-national organizations. During this time, he was directly involved in establishing corporate systems to ISO 9001 and related industry-specific standards, as well as programs for Six Sigma, Lean / Kaizen (Continuous Improvement), and Statistical Process Control.
In his nearly 20 years of experience in the Quality profession, he's worked with both service and manufacturing organizations, and his experience includes the development of management systems

to ISO 9001:2000, API Spec. Q1, ISO/TS 29001, ISO/TS16949, 10CFR50 and other standards, as well as NBIC “R”,”NR” and “VR” Certificates of Authorization. His most unique project was assisting one of the first programs in the United States to obtain certification to ISO/IEC DIS 17024, under a pilot program for the accreditation of personnel certification bodies. While a considerable part of his time is now spent working with small and mid-sized businesses, his project portfolio includes a number of multi-site certifications, for corporations with 20 or more locations.
Mark holds an MBA and a Bachelors of Science in Technical Management from Franklin University. He is a Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Quality Engineer (CQE), Reliability Engineer (CRE), and Quality Auditor (CQA) through the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Mark also holds Lean Certification through ExpertRating and is a certified Master Trainer through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
Mark has served on various committees relating to the advancement of the quality profession, most recently serving on the American Society for Nondestructive Testing’s (ASNT) Certification Management Council, and as a member of ASNT’s Publication Review Committee. He currently holds membership with the American Society for Quality (ASQ), the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC-USA).
When he’s not working, Mark can be found restoring classic muscle cars or looking for new additions to his electric guitar collection. He’s been married to Sinead since 2004, and together they have two sons, Luke Anthony Randig and Declan John Randig.
